Alice Marinho Brazil About Alice Professional experience: Alice is a senior associate at Pinheiro Neto Advogados’ tax practice (São Paulo, Brazil). She joined the firm in 2011 and has over +11 years of experience advising national and multinational companies in tax planning and tax litigation in Brazil. With a particular focus on tax matters affecting tech companies in Brazil, she has done extensive work on cross border tax planning, taxation on services and intangible goods, and litigation on the taxation of digital services and copyrights. Education: Alice holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in São Paulo (PUC/SP) and a graduate degree (Lato Sensu) in Tax Law at Insper – Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa de São Paulo, where she graduated in 2017 with her distinguished final paper related to “Relevant aspects on the Taxation of Digital Goods” published on the book “Computing, E-commerce, and Provision of Digital Services”. She has also completed courses on International Taxation (2014) and Taxation of the Digital Economy (2018) at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP), among other courses and seminars on tax matters from leading academic institutions in Brazil.
