About Cassandra

Cassandra is the legal counsel and projects manager for an international non-profit association, Global Lottery Monitoring System, supporting the sports integrity efforts of its membership, primarily consisting of state lotteries, as well as sports organizations, public entities and suppliers of lotteries.

She has worked in the inter governmental domain (European Union and the Council of Europe) , in a number of areas including Criminal law, sports law and data privacy. She gained her practical experience at law firms and inhouse in U.A.E., France and Portugal, as well as inter-governmental institutions including the European Commission and the Council of Europe. Cassandra has advised athletes on their contracts, transfers and represented them in sports disciplinary chambers. She has also worked with governments, law enforcement and lottery associations in implementing international treaties, compliance and sports law in general as a legal  counsel in an intergovernmental organisation (Council of Europe) and in international associations. Cassandra passed the California bar exam in 2021,
