About Maria

María Luisa Licón focuses her practice on international energy.

She assists and represents national and foreign companies in their corporate and operational design for the development of oil and gas projects. She provides general legal advice on energy regulations and compliance. Maria Luisa assists national and international oil companies in their participation in international public bids called by Pemex and the National Hydrocarbons Commission, including the bidding process, investor/operator structure, and implementation and compliance of awarded contracts.

She also assists service companies in their day-to-day operations and has experience with permits for the execution of midstream activities related to hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, and petroleum products.
