Mauricio Cedric Hernández Ibáñez Mexico, Mexico About Mauricio Cedric is a lawyer who has served as of counsel in several telecommunications companies for regulatory, corporate and commercial matters and who currently holds the position as Legal Associate for America’s Affairs in Infobip. Cedric attended the National Autonomous University of Mexico where obtained both his LLB as his Specialization in Business Law. Additionally, he coursed several diplomas at Technological Institute Autonomous of Mexico where was recruited by Federal Institute of Telecommunications for an entry-level job. Cedric quickly rose through the Federal Institute of Telecommunications structure, in 2016 he let go from the Institute to joined to Ruiz Moreno & Asociados a well-recognised law firm specialised in regulated sectors, place on which consolidated his practice. With the purpose to get better his practice, he decided to attend both Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, to get an international perspective about regulation, governance, public policy, business and law. Upon leaving the University of California, Berkeley, he returned to the practice in Mexico where currently serving as of counsel for regulatory, corporate and commercial matters in several telecommunications companies, both domestic and foreign, while also devoting more time to philanthropy, which has been a top priority for him throughout his life. Cedric advised Aportatec on obtaining a licence for the resale of the satellite internet in the centre of Mexico, as well as the obtention of a license for the resale of mobile services in charge of the foreign provider Orange Tech, LLC.
