About Susan

Susan Isla have served to the Peruvian government for 11 years as lawyer for the Peruvian antitrust agency, legal advisor in the Peruvian environmental agency and legal advisor in the Foreign and Trade Ministry.
During that time she had the opportunity to get to know how the Peruvian state and its dependencies work, what they need to develop a better job with limited resources and how they think.
The experience gained in those years gave Susan the possibility of identify the problems in public affairs like the bureaucratic barriers that affect free commerce, entrepreneur´s initiatives, and also how the public regulation affects the consumers, liberties and social relationships. Since 2017, Susan is a full time mom and also she shares her time with Law practice, in fact she works to improve the government measures that affect the Peruvian market. She serves as private consultant in Antitrust Law, Consumer Defense Law, Environmental Law; and recently she has been working for an association that identifies and pursues bureaucratic barriers.
