About Victoria

Victoria Dipla is a lawyer, admitted to the Athens Bar Association, with a specialization in Law & New Technologies, Privacy and Intellectual Property, working for an investment firm, part of one of the largest banking group in Greece, Piraeus.

She has extensive knowledge on privacy provisions, the GDPR and innovative fields of law, such as AI and ethics. She has interned for the Hellenic Bioethics & Technoethics Commission, after completing her M.Sc. in Bioeconomy Biotechnology & the Law at the International Hellenic University. She has extensive experience and has published her research on legal and ethical issues relevant to Artificial Intelligence in the Life Sciences Sector. She currently is and Academic Advisor in the Committee for AI & Ethics for the Ministry of Digital Governance in Greece and a member of the global Women in AI network.

She has worked in the NGO and global movement Fashion Revolution, as the coordinator of Raise Your Voice Festival 2021 and Fashion Revolution Week, raising awareness against human trafficking, modern day slavery and for sustainability and transparency in the fashion industry. She has recently graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law LL.M. program, with two specializations, in Law & Technology and Law & Business and with a certification from the Berkeley Executive Education Academy on ESG & Sustainable Capitalism.
