Claire Dompeyre is a practicing lawyer admitted to the Paris and New York Bars and the founder of Dompeyre Avocat, a Paris-based law firm dedicated to the creative industries.

She advises on transactional and regulatory matters, including contracts, intellectual property, AML/KYC compliance, and cross-border projects.

Her clients include both emerging and established players in the art, fashion, and luxury sectors, ranging from artists, estates, galleries, and collectors to institutions and artistic directors.

Before founding Dompeyre Avocat, she practiced in leading international law firms, advising on complex transactions and disputes.

She is the Chair of Berkeley Global Society’s Institute of Art & Culture, fostering dialogue at the intersection of law, business, and culture.

She also serves on the Inspiring Woman of the Year Award Committee, which honors women making a transformative difference in social justice, human rights, and environmental sustainability.
