Franz Schwarz London About Franz Franz Schwarz is the Vice Chair of the International Arbitration Practice Group at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP. He focuses on complex multi-jurisdictional disputes and has extensive experience with arbitral practice, procedure and advocacy both in civil and common law systems. He served as a member of the reform commission on the new Vienna Rules and is working on the second edition of his treatise “International Arbitration in Austria” as well as a comprehensive commentary on EU law and arbitration. Mr. Schwarz serves as one of the first foreign members on the Board of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) and as Vice-President of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre.
