Janine Sauerborn

Janine is a lawyer in Germany practising in the areas of tax law, corporate law and inheritance law. She is currently working in Koblenz.

Before coming to Berkeley, she successfully completed her German bar exam at the age of 25 years. At Berkeley she got elected President of SOALS 2024.

In her law study, she specialised on international civil law, international procedual law, as well as family and inheritance law. During her studies she was the contact person for legal issues in a family consultancy ensuring the daily business of the company through application of corporate and employment law.

Furthermore she collected international experience in Hong Kong during her legal clerkship focusing on the topics of international corporate and tax law.
